Dr. Eric Karp, MD - Rahway, NJ - Rahway Regional Cancer Center

Dr. Eric Karp is a renowned, highly sought-after, board certified radiation oncologist who created his own cancer center to fulfill a vision to provide the best possible level of care to cancer patients. A brilliant clinician with unparalleled talent in his specialty, Dr. Karp brings an overwhelming level of passion and dedication to treating patients with cancer. He pursues every conceivable effort to optimize and customize their care to defeat their cancer.

Dr. Karp, born in New York City, is an honors graduate of Columbia University in NYC where he worked extensively in tumor immunology and neurochemistry research. He then received his medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC where he was the recipient of two prestigious National Institutes of Health Research Fellowships and also where he received special commendation and honors in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Karp then served his entire residency in radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC where his level of outstanding performance resulted in his selection and the rare distinction of serving as an American Cancer Society Fellow in Clinical Oncology.

While at Sloan-Kettering, Dr. Karp determined that he would develop his own special, highly personalized, focused cancer center not to merely meet the level of care where he was trained, but to exceed it.

This is the origin of Rahway Regional Cancer Center – which is the recognition of a dream to build an independent, free-standing, comprehensive radiation oncology treatment facility like no other.
